Just when we thought that they had matured, the blow-hot-blow-cold duo, Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor, has had a big fight, again.

We’ve stopped counting but a source close to the couple said, “What a tragedy. One of the hottest couples of Bollywood didn’t spend Valentine’s Day together.”

Spending quality time together on Valentine’s Day together apart, the couple didn’t even exchange a single word.

A common friend of the couple said, “Normally, both would have woken up to mushy messages from each other. In fact, just a few days ago, their friends were teasing them about the same. Lekin aisa nahin hua.”

The fight happened over a trivial issue. Adds their friend, “These two can neither live with each other, nor live without each other.’

What do they fight about, we asked? “They fight over deciding the menu in a restaurant. They also fight when either of them cannot devote time to the other.

For example, when Priyanka got excessively busy with Don 2 it led to both of them deleting each other from their social networking sites.”

Their last fight was when rumour had it that Priyanka had gotten quite friendly with Ranbir Kapoor while shooting for Siddharth Anand’s Anjaana Anjaani; and then when she also went ahead and signed another film opposite Ranbir during this period, Anurag Basu’s Silence. Shahid they say was livid.

Repeated calls and text messages to Priyanka and Shahid did not evoke a response. Apparently, they were not in a mood to talk to anybody about their latest spat.

Off-screen couple, Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, will be seen in a Kunal Kohli-directed love story spanning a century

Their relationship might be on and off in real life, but Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor's reel life relationship is expected to last a century.

At least on screen. The couple has signed Kunal Kohli's next film, which is a love story chronicled over a span of 100 years.

While there is always speculation if Chops and Sasha are together or not, this seems to be an indicator that professionally they will be linked in the near future, regardless of their love life.

A source tells us, "This has a very different script dealing with the concept of eternal love. Priyanka loved the script the very moment she heard it and has accommodated her dates to shoot with her beau Sasha."

Kohli, who specializes in love stories, has slated the movie to go on floors in May.

The source adds, "Since it is a period film, spanning over 100 years, it becomes essential to have different get-ups and different locations with unique set-ups and backdrops.

Kunal has shortlisted various locations, but he will be paying a personal visit to each one to ensure that the locations fit into the script perfectly."

Kunal says, "I am currently doing a recce for the film. We have to zero down on various locations, as the movie covers 100 years."

Although Kohli has managed to rope in Shahid and Priyanka, he is yet to finalize the title of the film. He adds, "A period love story needs to have the correct title. I haven't finalised on any as yet. I would love some suggestions; it would certainly make it easier for me."

Previously Priyanka and Shahid were seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's Kaminey (2009). Let's see if they'll be able to rekindle the same chemistry again.

Shahid Kapoor may end up spending his 30th birthday today without his soul-mate Priyanka Chopra singing happy birthday to him. The actor, who is throwing a close door bash has reportedly 'split' with PC.

PC, according to rumours, is in the US. Some say the actress is reportedly shaken up by the lukewarm box office reports of her latest release and she planned a quick getaway to America. She is expected to join the Don-2 schedule in Malaysia shortly. Though PC may not end up going to the bash, Shahid who was a regular at her home till a few days ago, has invited Priyanka's parents to attend his party. When they were seeing each other Shahid and PC were inseparable. From their New Year getaway in Goa to Priyanka landing up on Mausum's sets in Punjab, we have seen the two head-over-heels in love. Now rumours (sometimes these seem engineered) say PC will not be there at Sasha's do.

Though Priyanka could not be contacted, her manager confirmed that PC will not attend Shahid's bash that is happening in a suburban Italian joint. Knowing how fickle these two are, who knows?

Shahid turns 30
Shahid Kapoor’s birthday party on Friday night at Olive pub in Khar was a star-studded affair with a lot of celebs turning up to wish the dimpled boy. Conspicuous by her absence, however, was Shahid’s ladylove Priyanka Chopra. Work kept her busy.

Mausam co-star Sonam Kapoor was there to wish Shahid, and Chance Pe Dance co-star Genelia D’Souza looked cute as always. Raveena Tandon looked ravishing as ever and Tabu looked sexy in a black dress.

The party started late at night and continued till 2.00AM when the police arrived on the scene after receiving a complaint about loud music from a local resident. The revellers partied for another half hour before heading for their respective homes at about 2.30AM.

Several other celebs were spotted at Shahid’s birthday bash. Karan Johar, Rani Mukherjee, Ritesh Deshmukh, Anil Kapoor, Vishal Bhardwaj, Abbas-Mastan, Sajid Nadiadwala, Goldie Behl and Sonali Bendre wished the birthday boy as he turned 30.

Shahid Kapoor was in a very jolly mood and also interacted with the media.

The actor’s persuasion to get Piggy Chops to comeback for his birthday bash falls on deaf ears

We recently broke the story on February 25 that Piggy Chops had fled to the US, to get away from the disappointing turnout of 7 Khoon Maaf and her erratic relationship with Sasha.

Even though, the actress left on a sour note with Sasha, he decided to wave the white flag and plead with her to return home for his birthday. Unfortunately, no attempts to convince her seem to have worked.

A source tells us, “After their most recent difference in opinion, Priyanka left for the US with the main purpose of avoiding Shahid’s birthday. However, they both regretted their headstrong nature, which tends to drive them apart every now and then.

When the time of the birthday bash approached, Shahid began missing her and implored Priyanka to return.”

The source went on to add that Sasha persistently tried to convince Piggy Chops to come back right until the morning of the party.

A mutual friend of the couple tells us, “One of the main problems is that Shahid does not express his feelings and Priyanka likes to be told she is special.

Shahid does not find the need to go on and on about the obvious. He wanted to ask her to stay but she left to LA in a huff. Once there, Shahid tried to get her back in time for his birthday party but it was too late.”

Since Piggy was missing in action, Sasha’s good friend and confidante, Mubina Rattonsey stepped up to the plate to take on the duties of hostess.

An invitee tells us, “She made sure everyone was comfortable. She offered drinks to all the guests and made sure the glasses were filled to the brim. She was the hostess of the party, which is a role that we’d have expected Priyanka to play.”

Ironically, Piggy Chops and Bebo were the only two female heroines that were not at the bash. All his other leading ladies from Genelia D’Souza to Sonam Kapoor showed up.

Even Rani Mukherjee and Anushka Sharma were present. In comparison the turn-out of leading men was rather low, with only Ranveer Singh, Ritesh Deshmukh, Anil Kapoor and Karan Johor being the big names.

Shahid's best friends choreographer Ahmed Khan and director Siddharth Malhotra were rather quiet throughout the evening, because they too were missing Ms. Piggy Chops.

Look who swung by that night

Before the police busted Shahid Kapoor's loud birthday party at a nightspot in Bandra on Friday night, Aamir Khan swung by with his wife Kiran Rao in their car.

Sure enough, all the media people who had been stationed there for hours, just to catch a few sneak peeks of the guests at Sasha's party, were diverted.

They all began chatting amongst themselves and began following Aamir's car. Aamir happens to live just behind the nightspot where Shahid's party was happening.

According to eyewitnesses, Aamir did seem curious to know what was going on at the nightspot. Was it just curiosity or a gimmick to deliberately divert attention? We leave the decision to you.

The Khar police stopped blaring music at the actor's party in a pub on carter Rd following residents' complaint.

Shahid Kapoor, who turned 30 on Friday, encountered some uninvited guests at his late night birthday bash in a pub on Carter Road: cops turned up at the venue and pulled the plug on loud music following complaints of people living nearby.

The police action proved to be a mood killer for the actor and other Bollywood biggies, who had gathered at Olive Bar and Kitchen.

A senior inspector at the Khar police station, Mangesh Pote, said that the pub was fined Rs 4,000 for playing music way past the official deadline of 1.30 am. "The pub has the permission to stay open till 3 am, but it is not allowed to play loud music (after 1.30 am)," he said.

Shahid-Priyanka go on a late night bike ride, after almost two months of separation

What is it about Priyanka Chopra that keeps Shahid Kapoor ever ready to patch up? And what is it about Shahid that Priyanka can’t keep away for more than two months? The actors, who broke up in the first week of February and have not even been seen together for almost two months, went on a bike ride together on Thursday night. Cupid, surely, is a strange, strange man.

Priyanka was shooting for Anurag Basu’s Barfee when she went to meet Shahid who was shooting next door. Our source revealed, “Thursday afternoon, incidentally both Priyanka and Shahid happened to be at the same place at the same time.

The actors did not go anywhere together since their break up. But the ice seems to have broken at SRK’s holi party, which the two attended. Another source said, “They are not back together but have now chose to remain good friends.”

Shahid Kapoor stays put at fan's house waiting for crowds leaving Wankhede Stadium after World Cup finale to thin out

While most stars got stuck in traffic jams for hours post their exit from Wankhede stadium on Saturday night, Shahid Kapoor did the smart thing and waited it out at a fan's home in Churchgate.

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, who was voted Bollywood's sexiest vegetarian by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals ( PETA), will be seen urging people to turn vegetarian in a new ad of the animal rights group.

In the new ad titled "Chicks Love a Vegetarian", a casually dressed Shahid is seen with two downy yellow chicks perched on his body, extolling the benefits of a plant-based diet. The ad is shot by ace photographer Atul Kasbekar

"I love chicks... pigs, cows, fish, and all the other animals too. That's why I turned vegetarian," said Shahid.

"I am very happy being a vegetarian and I believe that it is the best way to be. The day I started believing in the fact that I would want not to kill animals for my taste buds, that is the day everything changed for me," he added.

Director Siddharth Anand confirmed it will be an action packed film; industry speculates it’s a remake of Hollywood hit Knight and Day

On April 17, 2011, Mumbai Mirror broke the news that Shahid Kapoor will star in a suspected action flick directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Ramesh Taurani of Tips.

The industry is abuzz with speculation that the film is along the lines of the Hollywood hit Knight and Day, starring Tom Cruise.

A source close to the Tips production house, told us, "It is quite similar to the movie Knight and Day. In fact the filmmakers want to purchase the rights to the original."

Although Anand confirms that Kapoor will have his first shot in an action film, he denies the rumours about its similarity to the Hollywood movie. He tells us, "No, Tips has got nothing to do with Knight and Day.

We are making an original film. It's a different genre altogether. Shahid's film is an all out action flick."

Taurani, on the other hand, not only dismisses the speculations but also manages to contradict the genre of the film that Anand confirmed.

Most of the boys of Bollywood are infamous for flitting from one interest to another and Shahid Kapoor is no different.

However, this time the actor has grown weary of his home, where he has been living for more than five years.

In fact this was also the pad he and former girlfriend Kareena had done up together in the heydays of their love.

Shahid has shifted residence to the 11th floor of his building Raheja Classic, while the current structures of his 14th floor apartment, along with all the memories associated get demolished.

The actor has planned a whole new set-up for his bachelor pad. We wonder if the change will bring him luck with the ladies.
