| Akshay Kumar to launch more free martial arts classes for women

Akshay Kumar who was a professional martial arts trainer before he started acting, launched an initiative to train women in free-of-cost martial arts classes that teach them self-defence. More than 300 girls are already part of these classes in Maharashtra. He is now planning to extend a helping hand to launch more such self-defence classes.The actor is currently busy promoting his upcoming film 'Gabbar is Back', the story of a common man waging war against corruption around him. His character in the film sees him create a parallel army to fight against corruption and that has inspired him to teach martial arts to more and more women in the form of free self-defence classes to protect them from crime against them.
Akshay Kumar has already trained 10 black belt martial artists, and wishes to expand his army that teaches women self defense.
"I teach martial arts to 300 girls every week. From corporate to media to house maids, everyone. But we don't have enough space. I am going to open more classes in next couple of months. And its all free of cost", says Akshay Kumar.

Well, that is the latest buzz in townAkshay Kumar is every producer’s and distributor’s delight as he always delivers big hits. He has already released two films since the beginning of the year, which was Airlift in January and very recently Housefull 3. Airlift was a pretty big hit and earned Akshay a lot of critical acclaim and commercial success. But Housefull 3 was such a phenomenal success it blew all his previous hits out of the park. Owing to the success of his films in recent times, it looks like Akki has planned to increase his fee by a substantial amount.
Divya Khosla Kumar is all set to begin her next directorial after Sanam Re and buzz is, she has signed her Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo co-star Akshay Kumar for the male lead. Not just that, Akshay is said to have hiked his price to Rs 50 crore post the success of Airlift and the director has agreed to give him that remuneration. However, Divya denies having approached him. She says, “I am still writing the script so how can I approach Akshay? The question of signing him for that amount doesn’t arise. Let my script get complete then I will decide the casting.” Divya admits that her film will be a romance.
Wow! Rs 50 Crore for a romantic movie? Nobody can demand such a high price unless it is Akshay Kumar. But then again, Divya has denied that she has approached him at all and that she definitely cannot afford to pay him that much considering the budget of the film. Considering the exorbitant fee that the Khiladi Kumar is rumoured to be charging at the moment, the question arises if he will ultimately be cast in this project or not.
For the time being, all eyes are focused on his third release of the year which is Rustom. The trailer of the film came out recently and was widely appreciated by one and all. The trailer will also be featured separately along with Salman Khan‘s Sultan in select theatres. Rustom is all set to release on August 12, right in the Independence Day weekend.

Akshay Kumar and Ileana D'Cruz stunned us with a intense trailer of Rustom a few days back and they are back again with a romantic song. While we heard bits of the song in the trailer itself, Akshay just gave out a teaser of the Tere Sang Yaara song and we have say it is quite romantic...
Watch the video to fall in love with your loved ones all over again…Akshay Kumar and Ileana D’Cruz stunned us with a intense trailer of Rustom a few days back and they are back again with a romantic song. While we heard bits of the song in the trailer itself, Akshay just gave out a teaser of the Tere Sang Yaara song and we have say it is quite romantic. You can actually hear the song on loop and you will instantly fall in love with your beloved all over again one again.
After looking at the teaser of the song, we have to say that it has been shot very well and we see a lot of romantic scenes between Akshay and Ileana. In fact, the duo will also be seen kissing in the film and we see a teaser of it in the video the actor shared. The song shows rushes of how Akshay woos Ileana and how they get married. The song has been sung by Atif Aslam and we can’t wait for the full version of the song to be released.
Akshay Kumar tweeted today, “Here’s a sneak peek at the first track from #Rustom. A lovely romantic one, have a look! #TereSangYaaraTeaser”
Rustom is inspired by the infamous Nanavati case, in which Akshay Kumar plays a naval officer, whose patriotism is questioned after he is involved in a big case! Ileana is trying to prove that his husband is innocent, while Esha Gupta is on their heels to prove that Akshay killed her brother. The truth that will come out, will shock the whole nation! Are you excited for the film? Well, you ought to be!
Akshay’s Rustom will face stiff competition from Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro as both of them release on August 12.

| After Rowdy Rathore, Akshay Kumar to play a double role in Kaththi’s Hindi remake!

The Hindi movie Ikka will be slightly different from the Tamil original-Kaththi.
After Robot 2.0, and Jolly LLB 2, the Housefull 3 actor will begin shooting for Ikka.Ikka is officially the Hindi remake of Kaththi. According to reports on a leading portal, the film will be shot largely in Mumbai. The Rustom star will begin shooting after he wraps up 2.0 and Jolly LLB2. So the shooting might begin around January-February 2017.
We will be seeing Akshay in dual role yet again after Rowdy Rathore. The leading lady and the actor for the negative role are yet to be finalised but as per speculative reports, a Pakistani actress Maya Ali and model Sadia Khan have been approached for this role. As per reports, the final cast will be confirmed closer to the shooting date.
Furthermore, the Hindi movie will be slightly different form the Tamil original. Certain elements will be added to suit the North Indian audience. While Kaththi was around farmer suicides, this film will be around water scarcity issues. The film will be directed by AR Murugadoss’s assistant Jagant Shakti and is expected to release in mid-2017. Reportedly, the entire team will sit down for a final script narration after Akira’s release
In the original movie, Vijay was applauded for playing the dual role effortlessly, his grey character was especially appreciated. It was directed by AR Murugadoss.
As of now, the Airlift actor is awaiting Rustom’s release and Namastey England with Sonakshi Sinha will commence shooting from mid-August in London. Phew! It’s awesome how he is juggling with South and Bollywood films all at the same time.

He has two films in this year – Airlift and Housefull 3 – and both of them turn out to be superhits, despite falling under different genres. That’s Akshay Kumar for you.
Despite being one of the most successful actors of his generation, who has no problem in delivering back to back hits, Akshay Kumar is never considered in the premier league of the Khans, for some strange reasons. Even when it comes to awards, the man never won the Best Actor, despite his tremendous performances in films like Special 26, Brothers and Baby.
However Akshay Kumar feels he is far away from such hassles and firmly states that he doesn’t to compete with the three Khan, nor do they want to compete with him. In an interview with a leading daily, Akshay Kumar states that competing with his peer is like ‘playing a fool’s game’! For him, the Khans are a force to reckon, and he would not even dare compete with them! He said, “I admire the Khans’ star power and salute their success. They do the same with me. But we are not in the same race. We never have been and never will be.”
That’s some very intelligent words you have said, Akshay, who recently formed a mutual admiration club with Hrithik Roshan on Twitter, with Hrithik praising the trailer for Rustomwhile Akshay wishing the very best for Mohenjo Daro.This, despite both the film are releasing the same day!
