| Ajay Devgn’s film Naam to finally see the light of day: any takers?

This Ajay Devgn-Sameera Reddy-starrer will release soon and Devgn will take out time of his hectic schedule to promote the movie. But is anyone interested?
After a lot of controversies and hurdles, director Anees Bazmee’s Naam will finally hit theatre screens on May 24, 2013. The film’s leading man Ajay Devgn is taking extra interest in the project and promises to spare time to give the much-needed promotional boost to this jinxed project.
It seems Priyanka Chopra was supposed to be a part of this film in 2004, but she backed out ‘coz her dates were clashing with other projects. So the director got Bhumika Chawla and Sameera Reddy on board.
Let’s see if Naam works with the audience with these two leading ladies. Bhumika is nowhere to be seen in the Bollywood circuit and the Reddy babe is usually busy with South cinema or attending social dos. Apart from Ajay, there’s hardly any strong selling point to the film. We wonder if the movie is worth all this publicity drama….

With Sanjay Dutt behind bars, the Singham superstar might star in the Shootout at Wadala director’s forthcoming film
Everyone knows that the one best friend filmmaker Sanjay Gupta had and made the maximum films with was Sanjay Dutt. He treated the actor as an elder brother and even after a very public fall out, the two patched up, just like best friends often do. However with the Munnabhai star behind bars now, Gupta has realised that he needs another muse in a friend and so, is planning to convince yet another of his besties to star in one of his forthcoming films.
Not a lot of people know that Sanjay Gupta and Ajay Devgn have been thick friends for almost two decades now. Apparently, they used to hang out together since their college days and the only reason the two didn’t join hands for a venture was because of Gupta’s fierce loyalty towards Dutt.
Sanjay and Ajay however got talking about doing a film together while shooting for an ad in Goa. Not much is known about the project as it’s in the development stages, and the two have only verbally agreed upon it, as a proper narration is yet to happen. And Gupta, we hear, is working extra hard with his team of writers for crafting a slick film. He plans to visit Ajay in London where the actor is vacationing with his family to narrate this action flick.
The filmmaker is on a high since his last venture Shootout at Wadala was a hit, and looks like he could carry his winning streak further!

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn shares a steamy passionate kiss with his co-star Erika Kaar in 'Shivaay' song titled 'Darkhaast'.
The romantic track 'Darkhaast' has been crooned by Arijit Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan, composed by Mithoon and penned by Sayeed Quadri.
'Shivaay' is produced and directed by Ajay Devgn. The action-adventure film also marks the acting debut of Sayyeshaa Saigal, the grand niece of veteran actor Dilip Kumar.
'Shivaay' is set to clash with Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' this Diwali on October 28.

Ajay Devgn turns 49 today. The actor usually does not throw a party and hates cutting a birthday cake. He makes his children (Nysa and Yug) cut it. Birthdays are strictly family time for Devgn.
Ajay Devgn detests cutting birthday cakes. In 2012, while shooting for Son of Sardaar, he was practically forced by unit hands to cut a cake on the set. Considering his recent release, Raid, has fared well at the box office, he has reason to celebrate. If not, next year he ought to, when he turns 50.
Born on April 2, 1969 as Vishal Devgan, Ajay began his Bollywood journey in 1991 with Phool Aur Kaante opposite Madhoo. The actor completes 27 years in the film industry this year.
