Shahid today shared a bathroom selfie with his followers, which shows him flaunting his superhot body. While his physique is making everyone drool, his long tresses have become a major talking point. Shahid will play an INA soldier in Rangoon, which also stars Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan.

Shahid Kapoor says Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt are absolutely outstanding in their achievements as well as their performances.
“There are so many actresses over the years who’ve been absolutely outstanding in their achievements, in their performances. Maybe Nargisji, Madhubala, Madhuri Dixit, Kajol -- or among the contemporaries, people like Deepika, Alia. There have been so many fantastic actors over the years, and one learns from seeing their performances. And one enjoys working with the contemporary lot,” Shahid said in a statement.
On the work front, Shahid will soon be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming magnum opus Padmavati.

| Shahid Kapoor had fallen sick on the sets of the film Batti Gul Meter Chalu, due to which the shooting of the film had to be cancelled!

The Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is a very dedicated person when it comes to acting. We have seen his marvelous performances in films like Udta Punjab, Haider and the latest one Padmaavat. And now the actor has again shown his dedication by deciding to resume the shoot, even when he is not well.
Shahid was shooting for the film Batti Gul Meter Chalu, when he fell sick. And that too to the extent that he started spitting blood. Hence, the crew had to return to Mumbai without finishing the schedule.
According to a source of Deccan Chronicle, “Shahid is very health-conscious and has never cancelled even a day’s shooting in his life. He’s very upset over the five-day cancellation of the ‘Batti Gul’ schedule. The shooting had been a breeze so far, despite the huge crowds that gather to look at Shahid, who is now in the Rs 300 crore club after ‘Padmaavat’.”
The source added on saying, “Shahid started spitting blood. Though many thought it was just a viral infection, doctors, who checked on him said that because of the intensity of the scream, some blood vessel was affected.”
But this has not stopped the actor from doing what he loves, which is acting. He plans to resume the shoot very soon. The source informs, “Shahid plans to be back to the set in a day or two. He will finish his schedule and then return home towards the month-end.”
Meanwhile, Shahid’s last film Padmaavat has entered the Rs 300 crore club. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film also stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in lead roles.
